The Apps I built for moms
I have three little kids and thirteen years working in tech behind me. For a long time those two facts lived in separate parts of my brain.
Then I deleted all social media off my phone, got a genuinely shocking number of hours back, and started building the things I kept wishing somebody else had made.
These are those things.
01
Little Longer
Content screening for parents
Here's the problem it solves: a movie is rated PG, and PG tells you almost nothing. It doesn't tell you there's a gun fired in the last ten minutes. It doesn't tell you the first ten minutes feature a death. And a G-rated show can spend half its runtime unboxing toys in a way that has your kids asking for things by name for a week.
So Little Longer asks you what matters in your house — scary imagery, startling sounds, loss and grief, old-school gender roles, consumerism, and more — and then tells you exactly what's in a title and where it happens. You decide what to do with that. Skip it, prep for it, or press play with no worries at all.
It covers movies, shows, books, songs, and podcasts. If something isn't in the library yet, you can ask for it and have a report in about twenty seconds. See more here on the blog!
There's also a two-minute quiz that sorts your family into a house — Slow & Cozy, Big Feelings Welcome, Curious Cubs, Silly Geese, Daring Dragons, 90s Childhood — and then your shelf fills itself with things that fit your people instead of an algorithm's guess.
02
Little Later
Sensitivity screening for grown-ups
This one I didn't plan to build.
When I was pregnant, I couldn't watch anything happen to a pregnant woman on a show. In postpartum, the smallest thing happening to a child would undo me. Even now I'm careful about what I let into my brain, because I've watched exactly how it ripples out into my anxiety and my whole week.
Little Later is the grown-up version: your sensitivities, checked before you press play. Pregnancy and infant loss, medical trauma, harm to children, self-harm, and more — you set what you want flagged, and you find out before, not during.
Everyone has a version of this. The thing you can't watch right now, for reasons that belong to you and don't need explaining to anybody.

One more coming soon...
There's a third app in alpha right now. It's about baby gear, it's about money, and it's going to make you a little bit angry about what you've been overpaying for.
Get on the email list and you'll hear about it first.
And one thing that's true across all of these...
Your family's settings and profiles live on your device, not on my servers. I built these because I wanted them for my own kids. I'm not building a data business on the side.
There are also no passwords to remember, or subscriptions to remember to cancel later. You sign in with your email and that's it. One price, lifetime access, not another thing added to your list to manage.
