The Postpartum Chats! Breaking down ALL the things I wish I knew about postpartum the first time around. They’re long, bc, turns out it was a lot I didn’t know 🙃

I’m a mom of three and this series is exactly what l’d tell my best friends about postpartum - no filter and no agenda.

I’ve had a website for FTMs for years but just started on here in January to try to help as many moms as possible. When I became a mom I could only find the perfectly polished influencers who frankly made me feel bad about my life with a messy house and baby in pjs all the time.

So I’m here to show you the real stuff, from a real, regular mom of now three who LOVES motherhood AND talks about how hard it can be. Bc two things can be true and we don’t talk about it enough.

The coffee yap got a little spicy this morning but what can I say, this stuff is NOT OKAY and when I think too hard about it I can’t shut up about it.

I’d love to see more people talking about it and BEING about it. Repost my video if you want, I know it’s hard to find the words sometimes. But anyone who supports what’s going on with these deportations is a racist so maybe care less about what they think? Just an idea 🤷‍♀️

As a FTM I had a hard time with people making comments about my parenting decisions. Even as well meaning or innocuous as they may have been! It just felt like they were judging my parenting 🤷‍♀️

Now as a third time mom I have no problem saying it. Yes, we do “plan around our kids Naptime” because there are THREE of them under the age of four and if we are out during naptime it is simply not a chill situation.

Yes everyone will survive but what often happens is all of them meltdown and who do they want? ME! So I am overstimulated and then we deal with all of them sleeping poorly that night too. A schedule just works better for us.

And if no schedule works for you, I say you go mama! We don’t all have to make the same choices, it’s just about being confident in whatever choice you do make. Whatever is best for you and your family is exactly what you should do!

Never intended to come out here and share political views but unfortunately all of it’s intertwined into motherhood. My page is for first time moms - I want to help another mom have a better entry into motherhood than I had.

My kids are now 4.5, 3 and 6 months so we talk a lot of toddler life, marriage and the mental load too.

I’m all about sharing real life and the stuff I WISH I had seen when I was a first time mom, instead of the perfectly polished influencers who seemed to have it all together.

All of these things can help - and to be clear, I’ve always wanted a fancy calendar thing - but the point is they are not enough. You cannot outrun a bad partner by doing all of this!
